Hours:24/7 by phone
Office:1217 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753
Placement advisors answer 24/7. True Pathway Center is a referral and placement resource, not a treatment facility. Calls are answered by placement advisors who can verify your insurance and connect you with licensed inpatient treatment programs.
Our office location
Our office is at 1217 Hooper Ave, directly beside Ocean County Mall at Hooper and Bay Avenues in Toms River. In-person consultations at the office are by appointment β most help happens by phone, so please call (732) 527-3250 first. The office is a business office; no treatment takes place there.
What happens when I call?
A placement advisor answers, day or night. You don't need your insurance card in hand or a plan figured out β just tell us what's going on. We'll ask about the substance involved, any mental health concerns and your coverage, then verify your benefits and explain whether New Jersey's Chapter 28 protections apply. Self-funded employer plans follow different rules β a placement advisor can tell you which kind you have in one call.
From there, we connect you with licensed programs we refer to that fit. Calling is free for the caller. Read more about how placement works, our insurance guide, or head back to the homepage.
What if this is an emergency?
If someone is overdosing or in medical danger, call 911 now and give naloxone if you have it. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988, or call the NJ Hopeline at 1-855-654-6735. When the immediate danger has passed, we're available 24/7 to help with next steps.
